“ALL TRUTH GOES THROUGH THREE STAGES: FIRST, IT IS RIDICULED. THEN IT IS VIOLENTLY OPPOSED. FINALLY, IT IS ACCEPTED AS SELF-EVIDENT.” – Schopenhauer

"YOU SHALL NOT ABORT THE UNBORN CHILDREN (via reproductive rights/health/population control methods or family planning) IN ORDER TO AVOID THE DUTIES OF PARENTHOOD NOR MURDER (partial-birth abortion, infanticide) INFANTS BUT REJOICE IN EVERY CHILD AS A GIFT FROM GOD." - cf- St. Barnabas

There is a lot of false alarm about Philippine population growth. There is a lot of lies, hardcore lies, in fact. Population growth which is now hardly growing because of massive population control programmes in the country for me is not a cause for concern. I do not believe that Philippine population is already more than 80 million this year and it is not true that population increases by 1.8 million every year. May I know how did you get that statistical data? Is this verified accurate or just manufactured for the sake of population control programmes of the government and for those individuals with vested and selfish interest? Why birth rate is highlighted when death rate is not even mentioned? In simple word, you are already talking about birth rate but adroitly hiding the death rate including the unborn children murdered by abortion methods. Or the truth is the opposite. Death rate is more faster than birth rate! And there is no such thing as population growth much more the pestiferous lie of population explosion. I think, with respect to the organizers of he Forum for Family Planning, this is just a publicity for the anti-life/family agenda to create tension and pressure and then convince Filipinos that there is a pressing need for reproductive rights/health (which as admitted by UNPFA coordinators in Canada that this includes abortion), that in our term as pro-lifers, this is interchangeably a code word or password for abortion. Philippines has 7,100 islands and only 600 islands are having population, the rest are almost vacant though with native Filipinos, under extinction. How could there be more than 80 Million population? I think the population statistics is intentionally manipulated for exaggerated population growth rate reports. What about the death rate EVERY YEAR? Why is it only birth rate being put in bad light and no death rate? Is it just to maintain the argument that Philippines is already overcrowded? May I invite anyone to visit our province and so that I can show you the vast empty lands with very few inhabitants?

It may be true that millions of Filipino individuals and families have unsustainable income levels, but it's not because of the population growth, it's not because of the children. It is because the RATE OF INCOME IS LESS THAN THE EXPENSES. It is because of the shortage of money, of the monopoly of money of the debt-based money system. It is because of corruptions. It is because of manipulated prices of prime commodities. It is because of inflationary pressures or devaluation of currencies.

I understand that PopCom Executive Director Tomas M. Osias is also concerned to the poor and that is good. But with respect to his opinions and understanding, he has the wrong diagnosis of poverty and proposed solutions. How could there be huge population of childbearing when in fact childbearing is getting scarce in the Philippines because of massive population control programmes in the countryside? From what I understand, it is meant to intensify population control programmes in the country. And clearly it is to curb the population artificially. It is not the infallible concern whether Filipino families have many children or not, the main concern here is life and justice for everyone, that is, access to the wealth of the nation. Everyone has the right to live and has the right to have access to earthly goods as given for free by our Creator.
The problem of unemployment cannot be solved under the present financial-economic system. It is not the problem of the population growth but the problem of unemployment - which must be addressed. But this cannot be just addressed as long as our economic system is defective. Can we solve unemployment in this age of automation and computerization? In my understanding, unemployment always exists whether there is small or large population in any country. Is there any country in the world that solved unemployment by making their population tiny? Small population means low production and therefore low consumption.

WHY IS THERE SHORTAGE OF MONEY IN THIS AGE OF PLENTY?

There are many other factors why there are non-working family members dependent to their working families, but not because of population growth. There is no shortage of food in the Philippines in this age of plenty, and there is hunger and terrible poverty because of the shortage of money - which must be the issue that we have to tackle on, not the issue of population growth. Family planning is not only about birth control, contraceptive, pills, condoms, it is about economics, but such economics must be for life, not for death. There is poverty and hunger in our country not because of population growth but because of the unjust financial-economic system based on debt, as the money is controlled by the private banks, the money is misused, wasted, and or used in corruptions, that according to some sources, the graft and corruption in the country is around P20 Billion or even more than that! There is hunger and poverty because the money of the government is prioritized for the interest payments of almost $7-10 Billion annually to IMF-WB and to other bilateral creditors and private banks. The money is unfortunately used, misused, wasted for the massive population control programmes, for useless vaccinations with tremendous side-effects to the poor children, women and children and even death - unfortunately unreported or denied by those responsible. Why not use money for nutritional programmes for the poor children and poor families in the countryside so that we have healthy Filipino families that can help our economy? Why do money from UNPFA/USAID/and from other international agencies or from donor countries are not fed down to the poor and the needy in the form of sustainable livelihood projects or nutritional programmes? Why is it that money is used for contraceptives and abortifacients? Who benefits from this? Contraceptives, abortifacients, antibiotics, vaccinations to the poor Filipino families are more costly than much-needed nutritional programmes!

I can see that there are hungry and poor Filipinos, because of the system, of the wastage of money, not because of population growth. And because of the abuse of foreign aid, I think, it is futile to send aid to the Philippines when it is only used for population control programmes and for corruptions. It is also becomes a tool for camouflaging the interplay of banking profit and interest and multinational companies. Foreign aid thus becomes a grand deception of the international bankers, international agencies and the government agencies, used as a calming tool to hide the monopoly of money, and thereby continue the most atrocious economic and monetary enslavement of poor Filipino population. Why not address the gargantuan problem of domestic and foreign debts to solve unemployment, poverty and hunger of Filipino people than the issue of population growth?

Population growth does not cause poverty. High population density can be accompanied by economic success provided there is a correct financial-economic system and with conscientious political system with morally honest leaders and with fear of God. Population growth does not also cause famine, and does not exhaust natural resources. The problem now is distribution, no longer production as the national economy production is enough for all and in fact the global economy is more than enough at $30 Trillion value of wealth productions annually, but this vast wealth does not go to the poor because of the control of money, because of the shortage of money, and rather it goes to powerful and super-rich multinational corporations, global-mega-bankers, billionaires-tycoons who control money, wealth and population. My worry is about injustice in the economy, not population growth. Filipino population growth is not the root-cause of poverty but the present defective and unjust financial-economic system and dirty-muddy politics under the control of global manipulators. Poverty because of population growth is a great lie. And the quack medicine that abortion (in the euphemism of reproductive rights/family planning, population management) is the solution to poverty is a nightmare of a great lie.

MASSIVE POPULATION CONTROL? Who will replace the aging population? Who will be the next taxpayers can pay our gargantuan foreign debts if we will terminate pregnancies, if we will continue to murder the innocent unborn children? Every human being born in the country is a future co-contributor of the country's progress. So, why control the population? Why use artificial population control? Why not obey the Catholic Church on natural family planning which is safe and moral - for the goof of our health and soul? Many nutritionists and medical professionals in the whole world continually admit and confess the terrible physical, psychological, neurological, moral side effects of using contraceptives and or doing abortion. I am not surprised if the users of contraceptives and abortifacients and the doers of abortion are sick, or suffering degenerative or auto-immune disease, as a result of using these chemicals and procuring abortion.

Is Mr. Osias sure about what he is talking about population growth that allegedly by causes poverty and environmental depletion? I am sorry but I do not agree. This is not true. Why is it that population growth is being constantly blamed? Why not to blame the multinational chemical corporations that cause environmental destruction? The toxic waste left by American soldiers at the former military bases at Subic, that caused terrible disease and deaths to many poor natives in that province? Why not to blame the manufacturers of plastics and other toxic materials that cause environmental deterioration? The poor do not overexploit their environmental resources. It is the greedy multinational corporations and the tycoons.

THERE IS ENVIRONMENTAL DETERIORATION OR EXPLOITATION BECAUSE OF 'MONETARY PRESSURE' under the present defective financial-economic system based on debt.

Look, it is indeed deplorable that in the Philippines alone we can see the dramatic increase in pauperization and the destruction of the natural resources, not because of population growth, but because of it's been accompanied by horrific rise in the concentration of wealth of the rapacious, egoistic, sarcastic, immoral and financially arrogant peoples. Environmental destruction is not denied but it is not really caused by population growth but the dearth of money which is rooted from the present fundamentally flawed and unjust financial economic system. IT'S BEEN A DISASTROUS PARADOX THAT WE HAVE ENORMOUS AMOUNTS OF MONEY FROM MILLIONS TO BILLIONS FOR PAYING OFF INTEREST CHARGES OF THE COUNTRY'S COLOSSAL NEVER-ENDING INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL DEBTS, FINANCIAL GRANTS FOR POPULATION CONTROL PROGRAMMES, FOR HYDRA-HEADED GRAFT AND CORRUPTIONS, FOR MONEY-MARKET SPECULATIONS AND FOR USELESS GOVERNMENT PROJECTS, BUT NO ENOUGH MONEY FOR ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION, AND THEN PUT THE BLAME TO THE POPULATION GROWTH.

And because of the advent of our crippling and baneful crisis, there are many instances why we do not have the option of protecting our environment. WE ARE UNDER A BRUTAL SANCTION TO EXTRACT MORE AND MORE AT MAXIMUM COSTS, SO THAT SUFFICIENT OF OUR PRODUCTS CAN FIND THE WAY TO WORLD MARKETS FOR THE 'SERVIVING OF THE IMMORAL AND HUGE FOREIGN DEBTS' AND EVEN BY ARTIFICIALLY CURBING OUR POPULATION by abortion. THEREFORE, OUR ENVIRONMENT IS CONTINUALLY EXPLOITRED, I ADMIT, DUE TO MONETARY PRESSURES, NOT BECAUSE OF POPULATION GROWTH, AND OF COURSE, I ALSO AGREE THAT, FUTURE GENERATIONS WILL CERTAINLY BEAR THE COSTS AS OUR RESOURCES ARE RELENTLESSLY DEPLETED AS WE CAN SEE AND OBSERVE FOR THE PURPOSE OF RAISING INTEREST CHARGES TO MACHIAVELLIAN IMF AND WB AND TO OTHER FOREIGN BANKERS.

Philippines is paying $1 Million of interest per minute or $300 per second plus $400 interest daily to Bataan Nuclear Power Plant useless project. Is this not the kind of monetary pressure that destroys the environment? The money should have been used for the environmental protection or money for our economic improvement and survival in the Philippines.

Pope John Paul II wrote: "PLACING HUMAN WELL-BEING AT THE CENTER OF CONCERN FOR THE ENVIRONMENT IS ACTUALLY THE SUREST WAY OF SAFEGUARDING CREATION; THIS IN FACT STIMULATES THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE INDIVIDUAL WITH REGARD TO NATURAL RESOURCES AND THEIR JUDICIOUS USE."

'THERE ARE SEVEN THINGS THAT THE LORD HATES AND CANNOT TOLERATE:

1. A proud look

2. A lying tongue

3. Hands that KILL INNOCENT PEOPLE

4. A mind that thinks up wicked plans

5. Feet that hurry off to do evil

6. A witness who tells lie after another,...'-Proverbs
6:16-19. And in Proverbs 12:19 says: 'A LIE HAS A
SHORT LIFE, BUT TRUTH LIVES ON FOREVER.'

Abortion and contraception are mortally sinful and those who are promoting, funding and procuring abortion are ex-communicated, almost cursed by the Lord, and without repentance THEY WILL SPEND TRILLION OF TRILLION OF YEARS IN HELL FOREVER

I appeal to stop population control programmes in the Philippines. This is not the solution to our problems.

PLEASE ADDRESS THE ROOT-CAUSES OF POVERTY AND WASTE NO TIME TO POPULATION CONTROL PROGRAMMES:

1. MALDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH: 80% of Filipino people are in material and monetary poverty, voiceless and defenseless, struggling to survive daily, because of the shortage of money as controlled by the banking system.

2. WRONG PRIORITIZATION OF THE GOVERNMENT: government prioritizes as top item in the government expenditures for enormous local and foreign interest payment from $6 to $10 Billion annually. Whom we ever elect in the government, the government is borrowing money at interest in which its top priority, the high percentage of budget goes to interest payments only for the benefit of private and foreign banks. Government is also focused on wrong prioritization on population control with government funding in addition to foreign and international funding worth of millions to billions of pesos. THESE ENORMOUS SUMS OF MONEY BEING SPENT ON FOREIGN DEBT OR INTEREST PAYMENTS AND POPULATION CONTROL PROGRAMMES COULD HAVE BEEN USED TO RELIEVE SUFFERINGS OF THE POOR AND AVOID NUMEROUS DEATHS IN THE COUNTRYSIDES:

PROPOSALS:

1. Stop life-wasting and money-wasting population control programmes in any form.

2. Stop borrowing money at interest, write off the debts, create our own money debt and interest free according to our capacity and natural resources. We should not be forever slaves of the rich nations and international bankers only aiming for the destruction of life, our culture, our environment and our morality.

3. Unregulated urbanizations, under industrialization: urbanization is not evil in itself, but it's part of the economy in the modern world. The problem is: it is only for the benefit of the rich and the multinationals. Its drive is profit, control and greediness.

4. Bad/nasty-muddy politics: politics itself is not evil but the mind of the politicians is eventually influenced by evils. Greediness, lies, murder, profits, corruptions, wrong policies, immoralities, bickering, destructions, are very common to nasty-muddy politics.

5. Distortions in international trading and financial transactions: international bankers control money in the third world including Philippines. We are pressured by taxation and further borrowings at interest to pay more than enough, for the loans the government contracts without any positive return and benefit to the Filipino people especially the poor. Money goes back through graft and corruptions to the international finance. It is a brutish policy that DEBT costs lives of millions of child death in the third world. It is a great moral issue of 200 million people in dire poverty, whose lives are ruined by hunger, unemployment, injustices, debacle, or natural and man-made calamities, political chaos, war, insurgencies, crimes and terrible struggle for survival. ECONOMIC DEGRADATION BREEDS CORRUPTION, AND IF WE REALLY CARE ABOUT FIGHTING CORRUPTION AND ECONOMIC DEMOCRACY, WE HAVE TO CARE ABOUT DEBT RELIEF, NOT POPULATION CONTROL PROGRAMMES. The international financial-banking interests are only concerned to huge profits from compounding interest payments. Rich nations make propaganda or accuse poor nations including Philippines of corruptions as if there is no corruption in their countries. DEATH, DEBT AND DESTRUCTION ARE THE PAINFUL EFFECTS OF THE DISTORTIONS IN THE INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL TRADING.

6. Dictations/conditions from foreign funding agencies" The government has sold or leased its soul to foreign founders and population controllers. Most of the aid from foreign countries under the conditions of foreign policies. Most aid do not benefit the poor except those who are under political clouts and with access to economics and banking machineries.

7. Graft and Corruption: this is not the root-cause of poverty but the plain effect of the corrupt economic system. Interest payment is more higher than corruptions in the country. But of course corruption still destroys our economy. Unfortunately, the campaign to bust corruptions is useless as long as the present financial-economic system is intrinsically corrupt by the origin of money creation. I appeal to the officers of The Forum For Family Planning and Development, Inc. to rethink and re-evaluate their objectives whether these are good for the Filipino people or not. Certainly, there are other economic alternatives or policy alternatives to solve poverty and environmental problems without recourse to population control programmes. AS A FILIPINO PRO-LIFER AND A CATHOLIC LAYMAN, I REPEAT MY OPPOSITION AND CONDEMNATION TO ARTIFICIAL POPULATION CONTROL PROGRAMMES AND ABORTION AND I CALL ON TO ALL FILIPINO PEOPLE TO CHOOSE LIFE, NOT DEATH. Stop Abortion! Stop wastage of money for population control! Promote Life and Family for the future of the Philippines.

Long live Filipino People! Long live Philippines for the glory of God!
