THE MAJOR REASONS I SHOULD REJECT THE BILL BY ENCINA

REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH AND POPULATION DEVELOPMENT BILL IN THE PHILLIPINES IS UNNECESSARY

(The Major Reasons Why We Should Reject The Bill)

By Eric V. Encina

It is worth arguing against the bill at issue. The passage of the Reproductive And Population Development bill in the Philippines is unnecessary. The bill is just a kind of subtle code word for abortion that leads the way to also legalize abortion in the Philippines .

Some of the sponsors of the bill to approve in the Philippines are the multi-billion pharmaceutical companies selling artificial contraceptives for profits.

THE REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH AND POPULATION DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 2008 should not be enacted as as law as this is all about a preparation to legalize abortion in the Philippines .

The bill that is being pressured by the advocators to approve by the Philippine Congress and the Senate is not necessary. Our Philippine population growth rate that the pending bill seeks to regulate is not un-controlled but actually declining. According to the latest Philippine National Statistics Office figures show that a growth rate of 2.4% from the previous rate of 2.36% last 2000, whilst the fertility rate has indeed declined to 3.02% from 3.05%.

In the 1970’s to 1980’s, the average number of children per Filipino family was seven to 10. This 1990’s to year 2000 to 2008, the average number of children is only three. While in a certain community the Filipino population is still increasing as expected of any country in the world inhabited by males and females of reproductive age and in accordance to law of nature, THERE IS ALREADY A PROVEN PROOF OF STEADY DECELERATION OF GROWTH RATE EVEN WITHOUT THE PASSAGE OR ENACTMENT OF THE REPRODUCTIVE AND POPULATION DEVELOPMENT 2008 BILL.

THE MAIN THRUST OF THE BILL IS JUST TO PROMOTE THE UNDESIRABLE OUTCOME OF DE-POPULATION THAT UNFORTUNATELY IS NOW ONE OF THE MAJOR PROBLEMS OF THE SO-CALLED WESTERN-BASED RICH COUNTRIES OR EVEN JAPAN WHICH ADOPTED LONG TIME AGO THE PROGRAM OF POPULATION CONTROL THAT HAS BEEN PRESSURED BY THE ANTI-LIFE ECONOMIC SYSTEM. The problem now in these western-based countries and to other countries that adopt the anti-life policies, is the dwindling number of young people are left to bear the needs of a dying and graying population. THE REPLACEMENT LEVEL CAN BE DESPAIRING IN THE COMING YEARS.

THE BILL IS NOT NECESSARY and is not the solution to poverty. Poverty has many causes, but not because of the population growth or just because of babies or children. POVERTY EXISTS BECAUSE OF THE PRESENT FINANCIAL-ECONOMIC SYSTEM THAT IS BASED ON DEBT, MANIPULATION, INTIMIDATION, GREED AND AVARICE, AND OF COURSE OF BAD GOVERNANCE AND SYSTEMATIC GRAFT AND CORRUPTIONS.

There are countries in the world which are more densely populated than Philippines and yet they have higher per capita GDP, because they have good economic system thatp provides economic security to their citizens.

Filipino family’s average number of children has gone down from 7 to 3 but WE STILL HAVE POVERTY, per se, the monetary poverty and material poverty worse than before. In this age of global plenty, the world’s resources are indeed enough for all humanity but because of greed and avarice, we are suffering poverty and hunger.

The best solution to poverty is not by population control through artificial contraceptives and legalized abortion or euthanasia, but by the rectification of the present financial-economic system that gets us deeper into debts that only for the profits and interest of the international bankers and multinational corporations. Of course the provision of good education and decent job is also one of the best solutions to help the Filipino families out of poverty.

The passage of the bill is a wasteful of money and resources at the costs of the Filipino taxpayers money. The bill promotes the lies that PREGNANCY IS A DISEASE! The pro-lifers maintain the belief and the truth based on nature and morality that pregnancy is a sign of good health and the beginning of new life. In fact, pregnancy in the olden days was called to be a “blessing” from God.

If the purpose of the bill is to protect the married women’s reproductive health or prevent or reduce material deaths, THESE BILLIONS OF MONEY OR IN DOLLARS OR IN EUROS should be rather spent instead for ADEQUATE BASIC AND EMERGENCY OBSTETRICS-CARE FACILITIES AND SKILLED MEDICAL SERVICES TO WOMEN AND FOR THE PROVISION OF SALARY OR EXTRA BASIC INCOMEFOR THE WOMEN OR MOTHERS AT HOME that is for protecting them. The poor families need help for health and nutrition.

THE REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH BILL IS NOT NECESSARY because it is not about reproduction nor health of the women. IT HAS BEEN REPEATEDLY SUGGESTED BY THE BILL ADVOCATORS THAT WOMEN SHOULD REFRAIN THEIR REPRODUCTIVE CAPACITY USING ARTIFICIAL MEANS LIKE CONTRACEPTIVE PILLS AND DEVICES that alas lead to ABORTION BOTH DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY with harmful side-effects such as breast, liver and cervical cancer. Artificial contraceptives and abortion expose the Filipino women and their unborn children to life-threatening circumstances. WHAT ABOUT THE EFFECTS TO SPIRITUAL AND MORAL LIFE?

IT IS UNFORTUNATE THAT POPULATION CONTROL ADVOCATES, ABORTION AND MERCHANTS OF DEATH TRADERS CONTINUE TO DENY THE EFFECTS OF ABORTION despite of medical findings positively confirming that contraceptives like Depro-Provera, RU-486, IUD, Norplant and morning after pills directly cause abortion as they prevent the implantation of the embryo into the uterus.

THE NIGHTMARE OF THE GREAT LIE CONTINUES TO DECEIVE HUMANITY THAT ‘ ALL CONTRACEPTIVES ARE SAFE.” AND AS A ‘ NECESSARY EVIL ‘

The bill must be voted down and must be shunned by the entire Filipino people. Our Filipino legislators should not allow the killing of the mothers and babies for money. They should not succumb to the pressures of the WELL-FUNDED INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS AND MULTI-BILLION DOLLAR PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES ADVOCATING AND SPONSORING THIS BILL FOR THEIR OWN SELFISH INTEREST AND PROFITS.

The future of our Filipino children and of our country is at stake under the present anti-life economic system and to be aggravaged by the reproductive health and population development bill.

THE FILIPINO LEADERS SHOULD RE-THINK BEFORE THEY APPROVE THE BILL. They should also spare us from the many problems and evil consequences that those countries which adopted for years the POPULATION CONTROL PROGRAME AND LEGALISED ABORTION.

THOSE WHO DO NOT LEARN FROM THE LESSON OF HISTORY ARE THEREFORE CONDEMNED TO REPEAT IT!

VERITAS VOS LIBERAVIT!
